A polymerase chain reaction test (PCR) is performed to detect genetic material from a specific organism, such as a virus.

The test is carried out in a private consultation room by our trained staff. The test is quick and simple and  involves just a swap at the back of the throat and nose.

The tests have 100% specificity and 98% sensitivity making them highly reliable. All samples are processed at a UKAS approved laboratory which features on the Government website which lists recommended and approved testing laboratories.

Depending on the type of the test you have chosen, the results will arrive accordingly. For Same Day test, the results will be available the same day.

With the next result test, the results will be emailed the next day.

With the 48 hours result test, the results will be emailed in 48 hours time from the time once the sample is taken to the lab.

The results including the PCR certificate will be emailed directly to you.

The samples are taken to the Local lab by our dedicated courier directly from the pharmacy.

The Same Day PCR testing service with results certificate cost from £129

The next result test cost from only £85.
